The concept for this project was generated by a desire to earn a reward.
Wearing the shoe outside charges the battery through a solar panel located on the heel. The time spent outside charging your battery allows you to enjoy ambient lighting at night.
The secondary social impact was aimed at promoting tidiness in your home. In order to enjoy the lighting function of the shoe, the user must hang the shoe up and allow the ends of each shoelace to meet.
